JAMES MILTON BOSWELL (Jim), 96, widower of Doris June Allen Boswell, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025, in Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
A native of Louisville, KY, Jim was the son of the late James Cabble and Ada Mae Crawford Boswell. He graduated from the University of Louisville with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Jim moved to Aiken in 1953 to work for DuPont at the Savannah River Plant. He retired from DuPont in 1989.
Following his retirement, Jim pursued his interests in archaeology, genealogy, and philosophy, reflecting his passion for learning and exploration.
Surviving are his two sons, James A. Boswell (Kathy), Milton C. Boswell (Denise), all of Beaufort, SC; four grandchildren, Ben Boswell (Angela), Kristina Boswell, Amanda Boswell (Elizabeth), and Addison Boswell.
In accordance with Jim’s wishes, no service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org).
