IRIS BARBARA REHNLUND Iris Barbara Rehnlund of Wolverine Lake August 28, 1933 - February 10, 2022 Loving mother of Rodney (Karen) Rehnlund, Robert (Linda) Rehnlund, James (Paula) Rehnlund, William Rehnlund, and Thomas (fiancé Marcie) Rehnlund. Proud grandmother of Jason (Janelle) Rehnlund, Scott Rehnlund, Bryan (Kari) Rehnlund, Kyle (Chelsea) Rehnlund, Jeffrey Rehnlund, Deanna (Richard) Brancaccio, and Carol Rehnlund. Treasured great-grandmother of Archer, Charlotte, Quinn, Ryder, Eli, Briar, Avery, and Imogen. Sadly she is preceded in death by her dear husband, Robert Rehnlund, her son James Rehnlund, and three siblings, Frank Vailliencourt, Thomas Vailliencourt, and Edna Warren. Iris was born in Detroit, Michigan, to Thomas and Iris (nee Rising) Vailliencourt. The youngest of four children. She resided all of her adult life in Walled Lake, Michigan, where she met and married (43yrs) her husband, Bob, and then raised their 5 sons in their home where she lived for 64yrs! The last five years she resided in South Carolina to be closer to some of her children. Iris was a Walled Lake school bus driver for 27 years. She also worked as a greeter/assistant for the Lynch and Sons Funeral Home in Walled Lake for 27 years. She thoroughly enjoyed golf, bowling, snowmobiling, bingo, cards, dancing, traveling, and most any activity she could participate in. She will also be remembered for her love of animals, especially her cherished cats and dogs. Embracing life to the fullest always with a smile. Her home and arms were always open with the welcoming love she had for all her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all. Mrs. Rehnlund has been conveyed to Walled Lake, MI. Funeral from Lynch & Sons Funeral Home 340 Pontiac Trail, Walled Lake (3 Blks. S. of Maple Rd.) Thursday 11 AM. Interment Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Novi. Friends may visit Wednesday 5-8 PM and Thursday 10 AM until time of service.
