Idell Bridges Wyatt

AIKEN – Mrs. Idell Bridges Wyatt, 87, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clint Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Town Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home at 2:00 PM. Mrs. Wyatt was the daughter of the late James and Mary Bridges. She was a retired RN from Aiken Regional Medical Centers after 25 years of service. Mrs. Wyatt was also a member of Town Creek Baptist Church and a Sunday School teacher for over 25 years. She traveled twice to Africa on mission trips. Mrs. Wyatt was a friend to many and will always be remembered as someone who loved people. She is survived by her son, Michael Wyatt, Clemson, SC, grandchildren; Jon (Stacy) Wyatt, Michelle Wyatt, great grandchild; Willow Wyatt, brother; Ralph Bridges, sister-in-law; Judy (C.) Parker and a brother-in-law, Weldon (Brenda) Wyatt. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wyatt was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Wyatt.
