AIKEN, SC - Harold D. Enloe, 93, passed away on May 24, 2026. Born in Moniteau County, Missouri, he was the son of Roy and Marble Roth Enloe.

Harold grew up on his family’s farm in rural Missouri. Following high school, he worked for the Caterpillar Tractor Co. in Peoria, Illinois. During this time, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and assigned to Camp Gordon, Augusta, Georgia. While stationed at Camp Gordon, he met “a beautiful woman from South Carolina“ named Lucille Redd. After completing his military service, he attended the University of Missouri under the GI Bill, and he married Lucille, who joined him in Missouri.

Once he completed his degree in Business Administration in 1958, they moved to South Carolina. He then worked as a corporate salesman and insurance agent until 1966. After this, he founded Enloe Aluminum, which specialized in residential improvements, and later transitioned into petroleum industry canopies.

Always an entrepreneur, he had his hand in other businesses such as storage, retail sales, and residential property management. He was truly a man who was energized by his work. He often said that Monday mornings were his favorite time of the week.

He was hardworking, fiercely independent, self-determined, strong -willed, and yet he also maintained a generous, charitable, and compassionate spirit. His favorite leisure activity was a good game of golf, whether he was playing 18 holes or watching a tournament on television.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Lucille Redd Enloe, his parents, brothers Hershel, Gail, Gene, and Raymond Enloe, and sister, Opal Zey. He is survived by his children, Michael Enloe, Pamela (Neil) Winter, and Sherri (Eric) Wilson, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Ellen Houston, Tipton, MO and Linda Amick, Russellville, MO.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the care he received from the staff at Cumberland Hills, Anchor Post-Acute, and Trinity Hospice.
