Genevieve "Jenny" Bolin Magness

GENEVIEVE BOLIN “JENNY” MAGNESS, 89, widow of Russell C. Magness, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 in Aiken Rehab and Care Center.

A native of Springfield, SC. Jenny was a daughter of the late Ezelle and Viola Hutto Bolin.  She lived in Aiken most of her life.  She formerly worked as a teller at Farmers and Merchants Bank and later as a sales clerk at Belk.  She was a member of Redds Branch Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Russell C. “Rusty” Magness, Jr. (Teri), Graniteville; three grandchildren, Paul Magness (Julia), Timothy Magness (Hannah), Justin Satcher; two great-grandchildren, Rylan and Caiden Magness; son-in-law, Bryan Satcher; four sisters, Bonnie Jumper Watson (Jerry), Lake Murray, Betsy Penberthy (Dennis), Georgia, Shirley Adkins, Columbia, SC, Gwendolyn Heath, Aiken.  In addition to her parents and husband, Jenny was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Satcher and five siblings, Doris, Patricia, Barbara, Kenneth and Tommy.

The funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon, February 25^th at 2 o’clock from the graveside in Aiken Memorial Gardens.  The Rev. Richard McWhite will officiate.
