Eunice Trotter Hendrix

Eunice Trotter Hendrix, 91, a cherished wife of the late Carl H. Hendrix, passed away peacefully at home on March 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at home.

A native of Habersham County, Georgia, Eunice was born to the late Garnett and Ethel Pardue Trotter. She moved to Aiken in 1974 and dedicated her career as a Certified Nurse Assistant before enjoying retirement.

Eunice was an active and beloved member of Talatha Baptist Church, where she faithfully sang in the choir, participated in the Fellowship Sunday School Class, and was a member of the Women’s Missionary Union (WMU).

She is survived by her four daughters, Deborah Peek, Lynne Hendrix, Karla Roberts (Dale), and Janet Ferguson (Steve) and an adopted son, Ron Angerman. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Cara, Michael, Jeremy, and Matthew; three great-grandchildren, Gracie, Baileigh, and Bradford; and a great-great-grandson, Aiden.

The family will welcome friends on Friday afternoon, March 13th, beginning at 2 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3 o’clock, officiated by The Rev. Jordan Bird. Interment will take place in the church cemetery.
