Elvena E. Howell

ELVENA E. HOWELL, 73, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023 at home.

Born in Greenwood, SC, Elvena was a daughter of the late George Montjoy and Corrine McCoy Seymour.  She lived most of her life in Aiken and retired from DOE at the Savannah River Site.

Survivors include her son, James A. Locklair, Aiken; two grandchildren, James Austin Locklair and Abbigail Marie Locklair; a great-grandson, Emmett Locklair.

The family will receive friends Friday morning, August 18^th beginning at 11 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at noon with The Rev. Tommy Donn officiating.  Interment will be in Southlawn Cemetery.
