Ellis Ray Reynolds, Sr.

AIKEN, SC – ELLIS RAY “POLAK” REYNOLDS, SR., 76, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021 at his residence.

     A native of Aiken, SC, Ellis was a son of the late Pearlie and Isabella Alma McKay Reynolds.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army and Marine Corps.  He retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass.  Ellis was a history buff, enjoyed and was quite good at shooting pool.

     Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann Chapman Reynolds; four children, Dana Lawson, (Mike Carson), Shayne Reynolds, Steven G. Reynolds (Cindy), all of Aiken, Christian Jensen (Patricia), Hephzibah, GA; eleven grandchildren, Brandon Jensen (Megan), Andrew Jensen, Evan JEnsen (Hannah), Emily Bellamy (Brett), Kristina Wise (Greg), Brooke Lawson, Abby Lawson, Misty McConnell (Kevin), Michael Reynolds, Brooklyn Reynolds, Chasity Roberts; nine great-grandchildren.  In addition to his parents he was preceded death by a son, Ellis Reynolds, Jr.

     The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon, April 1^st beginning at noon at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow in the funeral chapel at 1 o’clock.  Interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.
