Edwin L. Randolph

AIKEN, SC – EDWIN L. RANDOLPH, 86, beloved husband of Betty Thomas Randolph, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021, at A.U. Medical Center, Augusta, GA.

A native of Poplar, NC, Edwin was a son of the late Frank and Sarah Tipton Randolph.  He moved to Aiken in 1962 from North Carolina and went to work at Owens Corning Fiberglass.  After retiring from Owens Corning Edwin worked at the Aiken County Recycling Center in New Ellenton.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of 63 years, Betty, include two daughters, Pam Randolph and Melissa Sullivan (Chris); two grandsons, Tyler Sullivan and Andrew Randolph; his daughter-in-law, Jill Randolph, all of Aiken; a sister, JoAnne Adkins, Poplar, NC and a close friend who was more like a daughter, Georgeane Rowell (Kelvin), Augusta and a number of nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Joey Randolph.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening, July 22^nd from 6 until 8 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.

The funeral will be Friday morning, July 23^rd at 10:30 AM at the funeral home.  The service will be livestreamed at (https://www.facebook.com/srfhandsfh)
