Doyal E. Feller

AIKEN, SC – DOYAL E. FELLER, 84, beloved husband of Ruth I. Stidd Feller, died Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at his residence. A native of Wilmot, OH, Doyal was a son of the late Olen L. and Lena Kaser Feller. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Republic Steel in Massilon, OH before moving to Aiken in 1984. He then worked at the Savannah River Site until retiring again in 1992. He was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church. Survivors, in addition to his loving wife, Ruth, include two daughters, Monica Furnas (Butch), Aiken, Melissa Coates (Dan), Fairfield, OH; a son, Mike Feller, Aiken; four grandchildren, Drew Furnas (Fiancée Jordan Ledbetter), Brent Furnas, Lee Coats (Alexis), Matthew Coats; sister-in-law, Bonnie Feller, Beach City, OH. In addition to his parents, Doyal was preceded in death by two brothers, Olen L. Feller and C. Kenneth Feller. A memorial service will be held Saturday afternoon, July 22nd at 2 o’clock in the chapel of St. John’s United Methodist Church. A reception will follow in Ward Hall.
