Douglas Bernard Fearon

AIKEN, SC – DOUGLAS BERNARD FEARON, 66, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at his residence with his daughters by his side. 

     A native of Lowell, MA, Douglas was a son of Helen Wilson Fearon and the late Richard Joseph Fearon.  He grew up in Dracut, MA and was the former owner of Fearon’s Classic Auto Body in Tyngsboro, MA. He graduated from Dracut Senior High School class of ‘73 before studying photography at the Art Institute of Boston but ultimately found his passion in antique automobile restoration.  Douglas loved antiquing and camping with his family and was an avid NASCAR fan. He moved to Aiken County 8 years ago from Massachusetts.

     Surviving, in addition to his mother Helen of Merrimack, NH, are two daughters, Tina Christine Fearon and Tara Victoria Fearon, both residing in Lexington, SC; three stepchildren, Adam Sandelli (Gina), Gianna Sandelli, Matthew Sandelli (Lisa Freytes), all of Massachusetts; three brothers, Richard Joseph Fearon Jr., Dennis David Fearon (Michele), Donald Gerry Fearon (Victoria), all of Massachusetts; his former wife and mother of his children, Judith Gendreau also residing in Aiken, SC; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family as well as his faithful dog “Buddy”. 

     Funeral services and interment in Massachusetts will be announced.
