DOUGLAS ALAN FAULS, 67, beloved husband of Cynthia Lantrip Fauls, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025 in Wellstar MCG Health Hospital in Augusta, GA with his loving family by his side.
Born in Detroit, MI, Doug was a son of the late Herbert Hoover Fauls and Betty Robinson Fauls. He grew up in Orlando, FL. Doug had a lifelong love for motorcycles, more specifically, Harley Davidson Motorcycles. His grandmother, Dorothy Robinson was the cofounder of “Motor Maids” and all female motorcycle club in the early 1940’s. She set out to unite women riders, to show that you could ride a motorcycle and still be a lady. Doug had lived in Aiken since 1993 and loved the game of golf.
Surviving, in addition to Cindy, his beloved wife of 40 years, are two sons, Christopher Fauls (Courtney), Spring Hill, FL and Timothy Fauls, Aiken, SC; two sisters, Denise Peeples, Orlando, Fl and Dottie West, Palm Coast, FL; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Kathy Kumse (Vince), Greenback, TN, Becky Lantrip, Hilton Head, SC, Tommy Lantrip (Barbara), Edgewater, FL, Mary Loften (Swan), Detroit Lakes, MN and David Lantrip, Houston, TX. Doug was also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
A service celebrating Doug’s life will be Saturday afternoon, December 6th at 2 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home with The Rev. Bill Howard III officiating. The service will be livestreamed at https://iframe.dacast.com/b/156599/c/585055 .
