Doris Wallo

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC – Mrs. Doris Wallo, 64, beloved wife of Robert Joseph Wallo, Jr., passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023.

Born in Kaiserslautern, Germany, Doris was the daughter of the late Fred and Waltraud Mueller Schmidt. Doris was an avid bowler for over 20 years, earning multiple awards and achievements. Doris also enjoyed reading, crocheting and bingo. 

She is survived by her husband Robert Joseph Wallo, Jr.; daughters, Christine (Brett) Carlson, Madison, WI, Melanie (Matt) Mullins, Greenwood, IN; grandchildren, Lilith Carlson, Jacob Mullins, Kyra Mullins, Michael Mullins; sisters, Karin (Brent) Bean, MA, Ingrid (Konrad) Niebling, Germany, Christa (Jochen) Lacher, Germany, Petra Stackhouse, Germany; brothers, Gunter Schmidt and Gerhard Schmidt.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her son, Stefan Ultes and two brothers, Ronald Schmidt and Hans-Jurgen Schmidt.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 29^th at Shellhouse Funeral Home (924 Hayne Ave.). The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
