AIKEN, SC - Mr. Darwin William Raatz, 82, beloved husband of Janet Elinor Raatz, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019 after suffering from a long illness. In addition to his wife, Mr. Raatz is survived by his sons, John (Patti) Thomas, Grand Rapids, MI, Joe Raatz, Glenwood Springs, CO, James Thomas, Grand Rapids; step daughter, Sherie Kopenski, Grand Rapids; step son, Brian (Tabatha) Kopenski, Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Adam Thomas, Cameron Thomas and a great grandchild, Macklin Thomas. There will be no services held locally. SHELLHOUSE-RIVERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 715 EAST PINE LOG RD., AIKEN, SC 29803
