Cynthia A. Corcoran

Cynthia A Corcoran of Aiken, SC passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, with loved ones by her side, after a short illness.

Born in Syracuse, NY on July 6, 1950, to Speros and Mary Dellas, Cindy grew up in Syracuse, graduated from Nottingham High School and Boston University. She married her beloved husband, Thomas Corcoran in 1981. Cindy’s professional career was spent in Morristown NJ where she was a senior underwriter for the Chubb Group. Retiring with her husband to Aiken, SC, Cindy was a gifted artist, and spent her days creating beautiful watercolors and perfecting her craft in her home studio. Her husband remembers Cindy as a special light; she brought warmth to everyone she met, with a smile that could brighten any room. Cindy was a vibrant, intelligent, caring and very funny lady.

A loving wife, daughter, sister,stepmother and YiaYia, Cindy was predeceased by her parents, and is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas Corcoran, her stepson, Casey Corcoran (Margie), two grandchildren, and her brother, John Dellas and family as well as many Dellas cousins.

According to Cindy’s wishes, there are no calling hours and services were private.
