C. Albert Armstrong, Jr.

NEW ELLENTON - C. Albert Armstrong, Jr., 91, of New Ellenton, SC died August 17, 2018 at his home.

     A native of Anderson, SC, Mr. Armstrong was the son of the late C. A. Armstrong, Sr. and Maude V. Armstrong. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II and had lived in Aiken County since 1954.

     He retired from DuPont SRP in 1985 and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. He was a life time member of New Ellenton Masonic Lodge 389.

     Mr. Armstrong was preceded in death by his treasured and beloved wife Nell Geddings Armstrong and adored daughter Jan Armstrong.

     He is survived by his daughter, Denise “Neesie” James (Chuck) of Savannah, GA; grandson, Trey James.

     The family will receive friends Monday afternoon, August 20^th beginning at 1 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 o’clock with The Rev. Robert Reeves officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens
