Connie D. Osteen

AIKEN, SC – CONNIE DIAMOND OSTEEN, 75, beloved wife of Steve Osteen, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Born in Elko, SC, Connie was a daughter of the late James Leon and Iris Ramona Boyleston Diamond.  She had lived most of her life in Aiken and was a homemaker.  Connie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She loved music and had a beautiful voice.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, Steve, include three children, Gene Redd (Sheryl), Warrenville, SC, Eddie Redd (Becca), Gloverville, SC, Janet Redd, Aiken; five grandchildren, Ashley Kimbrell, Erica Gibson, Elizabeth Redd, Dalton Redd; six great-grandchildren, Landon, Jeremy, Derek, Kyleigh, Aubreigh and Jaden.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Stephen Redd and her brother, Jimmy Diamond.

The family will receive friends Friday evening, October 14^th from 6 until 8 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.

A private graveside service will be held Saturday in Southlawn Cemetery.
