Charles Aaron "Charlie" Jenkins

CHARLES AARON “CHARLIE” JENKINS, 47, passed away Friday, June 23, 2023 at his residence.

Born in Wilmington, DE, Charlie was a son of Charles F. Jenkins and the late Claudia Stanislow Jenkins.  He moved to Aiken with his family when he was 1 year old and lived most of his life in Aiken.  He graduated from Aiken High School and attended Clemson University and studied graphic communications.  Charlie loved music and art.  He was a talented guitarist, a songwriter, and enjoyed playing music with friends. He will be remembered by his family as “having a really big heart”.

Surviving, in addition to his father Charles of Grovetown, GA, are his brother, Craig Fergus Jenkins (Susan), Lugoff, SC, his sister, Caryn Golden (Mike), Moody, AL and two nieces, Cameron and Lauren Jenkins.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening, June 29^th from 6 until 8 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.  No formal service is planned.
