AIKEN, SC – CHARLES DUDLEY HARPER, 79, husband of the late Judy Harper, passed away, Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
A native of Edmonton, KY, Charles was a son of the late Ben and Louellan Jessee Harper. He was a veteran of the United States Army during the Cold War. He was an over the road trucker and retired from MXI. He moved to Aiken in 2001 from Greenville, SC.
Survivors include his son, Michael Harper (Kimberly), Gainesville, GA; his daughter, Rebecca Harper, Parkville, MD; three grandchildren, Jennifer Jaeger (Collin), Michael Harper, Jr. (Kayla), Joshua Harper; four great-grandchildren, Melissa Jaeger, Harrison Jaeger, Julia Jaeger, Hadley Harper; two brothers, Gary Harper (Ruth), Burbank, IL, David Harper (Pandora), Glasgow, KY. In addition to his wife and parents, Charles was preceded in death by two brothers, Alphonso and Alton.
Services will be held at a later date and will be announced.
