Carolyn Marie Harrison

RIDGE SPRING, SC - CAROLYN MARIE HARRISON, 62, beloved wife of Opie Lee Harrison, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

A native of Fleming, KY, Carolyn was a daughter of the late Harold Dean and Linda Dingus Sexton.  She had lived in Aiken County since moving from Wisconsin in 1986.  Carolyn was a homemaker, but more importantly, she spent a great deal of time ministering to the homeless in Augusta.  She was a member of Mountain of Worship Ministries.  She was a worshiper and warrior of God.

Surviving, in addition to her husband Lee, are two sons, Edward Dean Bartley and Nicholas Lee Harrison, both of Aiken; her brothers and sister, Harold Sexton, Jr., Cromona, KY, Kathy Cvetnich (Robert), Cromona, KY, Kelly Sexton, Travelers Rest, SC and Michael Sexton (Latisha), Hopkinsville, KY.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, January 12^th from 6 until 8 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon, January 13^th at 1 o’clock with The Rev. Terry Butler officiating.  Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery.
