Caroline "Carrie" Elizabeth Epps

Caroline Elizabeth Epps, 27, became an angel in Heaven in the early morning hours of Sunday, October 26th passing away peacefully in her sleep.

Carrie is survived by her loving and devoted parents, Michael and Milly Ann Epps; brothers Matt (Mariah) Epps and Drew Epps, nephew Max; uncle John (Sarah) McLauchlin and cousins Carter and Kate McLauchlin, uncle Mark (Monika) Epps and cousins Caleb and Jacob Epps, aunt Susan (Jimmy) Harden and cousin Devan, great aunt, Henriann Goddard, and great aunt and uncle Phil and Joan Atchley, along with many loving extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents, John Emmette and Milly McLauchlin, and Ray and Donna Epps.

In early childhood, Carrie was diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome. While it ultimately took her to be with her grandparents earlier than anyone expected, it gifted her with a precious view of the world that reminded all who spent time with her to appreciate the simple joys in life. She loved to sing, dress up to go to dances, and shop. She loved Christmas, her birthday, trips to Starbucks, and visits to the Charleston market.

Carrie will be laid to rest at the Columbarium at Aiken First Baptist Church during a private family ceremony. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Saturday, Nov 1, 2025 at Aiken First Baptist Church, 120 Chesterfield St. N, Aiken, SC 29801. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall immediately following the service.
