Brian Wesley Garrett

BRIAN WESLEY GARRETT, 49, beloved husband of Kristina Bryant Garrett, passed away early Thursday morning, March 26, 2026, in Piedmont Augusta Hospital.

A lifelong resident of Aiken, Brian was the son of William Theodore Garrett and Linda Owens Adcock. He was a graduate of South Aiken High School and a member of the IBEW Local 1579 in Augusta. Brian worked as a senior electrical construction engineer with SRNS at the Savannah River Site and was regarded as a highly skilled electrician. An avid Gamecocks fan, Brian had a zest for life and a warm spirit; he never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Brian cherished time spent on the water, whether at the lake or the beach. He enjoyed cooking, with grilling and smoking as his specialties. His passion for music was extensive, and he was an amateur photographer who delighted in capturing moments through pictures and videos.

He is lovingly survived by his wife Kristina, with whom he shared 15 years together and 12 years of marriage; his mother, Linda G. Adcock (Glen E. Peterson) of Aiken; his father, William Garrett (Wanda) of Wagener; his four children, Jaiden B. Garrett, Skylar B. Garrett, and Rylie B. Garrett, all of New Ellenton, and Gabriel Wesley Garrett of Aiken; his brothers Billy Garrett (Sabrina) of Aiken, Les Fleming of Jacksonville, Florida; and his sister Ashlee Edney (Marcus) of North Augusta.

The family will receive friends on Friday afternoon, April 3rd, from 2 to 3 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 3 o’clock at the funeral home.

In lieu of flower donate to the Arbor Day Foundation or plant a tree in memory of Brian.
