Bobby Gene Hammonds

AIKEN, SC – BOBBY GENE HAMMONDS, 80, widower of Julia Hammonds, died Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

A native of Talladega County, AL, Bobby was a son of the late James Edward and Georgia Ann Horn Hammonds. He lived in Aiken County for 46 years and was a retired truck driver.

Survivors include four daughters, Cathye Hammonds-Wood, Pam Nelson, Sherry Kissic, Cindy Harris-Shirel, all of Sylacauga, AL; two sons, Bobby Hammonds, Aiken, SC, Yancy Hammonds, Clay County, AL; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sally Aderholt, Tammy Kilgore, both of Sylacauga, AL; a brother, Raymond Hammonds, Sylacauga, AL.

He was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Dylan Ross Kissic and and sister, Linda Louise Chandler. 

Funeral services will be private.
