Ashley Nicole House Owen

AIKEN, SC – ASHLEY NICOLE HOUSE OWEN, 37, beloved wife of Justin Marc Owen, died suddenly, Sunday, December 24, 2017, at her residence.

A native of Gastonia, NC, Ashley was a daughter of Brenda White House and Carroll Gene House.  Ashley was crowned Miss North Carolina 2001 and competed in the Miss America Pageant.  She was a former volunteer for Holy Angels in Belmont, NC working with children and adults with special needs.  Surviving, in addition to her husband Justin, include three children, Kaitlyn Nicole Calverley, age 10, Cole Paul Calverley, age 7, and Faith Elizabeth Owen, age 1 month; her parents, Brenda and Carroll House, Little River, SC; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Norman and Babette Owen, Hume, VA.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon, December 30^th  at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home beginning at 1 o’clock.  The funeral service will follow at 3 o’clock with The Rev. Dr. Henry L. Chennault officiating.
