Amanda S. Whitecotton

AMANDA S. WHITECOTTON, 71, widow of Frank Whitecotton, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023 in PruittHealth, North Augusta surrounded by her loved ones.

A native and lifelong resident of Aiken, Amanda was a daughter of the late Olin R. and Mary Jo Quinn Herron.  She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her dogs.

Surviving is her daughter, Heather Edl (David), North Augusta; grandsons, Kyle Edl (Liza) and Caleb Edl; great-grandson, Emmett Edl; sisters, Janice Watkins (Billy), Aiken, Nancy Rollins (Austin), Aiken.  In addition to her husband and parents, Amanda was preceded in death by her grandson, Connor (age 7); two sisters, Michelle Workman and Christa Williams.

A private graveside service will be held in Aiken Memorial Gardens.
