Alexander David Faubert, known affectionately as Alex to those who knew him well, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026, at his home in Aiken, South Carolina. Born on March 5, 1992, Alex was a cherished son, brother, grandson, and friend who touched the lives of many with his vibrant spirit and warm heart.
Alex’s early years were marked by a passion for soccer, a sport he played both recreationally and throughout his time in high school. He attended Aiken High School, graduating as part of the Class of 2010, before pursuing higher education at USC-Aiken, where he graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Kinesiology. During his time at USC-Aiken, he was a valued member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity, where he brought his remarkable energy into his role as party planner, well known for being the life of every gathering, bringing joy and energy to countless social events, and hosting many events of his own. Alex has worked in the food and beverage industry in Aiken for the past 16 years. He has enjoyed the friendships built and the ability to serve his community with his infectious smile.
Alex was a loving pet father to his two hounds, Daisy and Zoe. They really were his whole world. He was also an enthusiastic and proud fan of the Denver Broncos. His devotion to the team was well-known among his family and friends.
The loss of Alex will leave a massive hole in our hearts. His love for family and friends was indisputable and his smile would light up the room.
Alex is survived by his mother, Steffhanie Laurel (Chris); his father, David Faubert (Mary-Ellen); and his beloved siblings—Emilia Faubert, Andrew Faubert, and Mary Faubert—whom he was lovingly referred to as Big Bear. Alex is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Jacqueline Faubert, and maternal grandmother, Gayle Glover.
A private service will be held.
