Sarah Lowe Heath

AIKEN, SC – SARAH LOWE HEATH, 92, widow of Geddings Heath, died Sunday, December 6, 2009 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Mrs. Heath was a native, and lifelong resident of Aiken County. She was a daughter of the late Fred and Viola Grant Lowe and step-daughter of the late Lila Boyd Lowe. She was a homemaker and a member of Chime Bell Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons; Carroll (Harriet) Heath, Aiken, Phillip R. Heath, Aiken and Harold (Anna) Heath, Harlem, GA, eighteen grandchildren and a number of great and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters; Florence Hutto, Aiken and Betty (T.W.) Weeks, Williston and a brother, Finley (Mae) Lowe, Aiken. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Chime Bell Baptist Church, with Rev. Gary Fleetwood officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.
