AIKEN, SC – CLYDE INMAN HICKS, 90, widow of Hobert Lester “Bob” Hicks, died Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Lumberton, NC, Clyde was a daughter of the late Jimmy D. and Katie Cook Inman. She graduated from Barker Ten Mile High School. She lived in Aiken since 1950 and was a homemaker. Clyde worked as a cosmetics consultant at J. B. White’s for a number of years. She was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Jimmy Hicks (Kathi), Aiken; two granddaughters, Jenny Pillarelli, Chelsea Bare (Robert); two great grandchildren, Jackson and Lainey Bare; two sisters, Doris Webb, Wallace, NC, Frances Howell (Craig), Laurenburg, NC; two brothers, J. D. Inman, Lumberton, NC, Dewey Inman (Peggy), Raeford, NC. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Patrick, Mike and Larry Hicks. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon, January 14th beginning at 1 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 2 o’clock. The Rev.
