Alice Thelma Owens

AIKEN, SC – ALICE THELMA OWENS, 92, widow of Lyle Owens, died Monday, January 9, 2017 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Warren, PA, and Flowery Branch, GA. Alice was a daughter of the late Axel and Anna Dahlin Carlson. She was the Manager of Betty Dixon Candy Shop in Warren, Pa for a number of years until relocating to Flowery Branch, GA in 1976 and then to Aiken, SC after the death of her husband. Survivors include four daughters, Nancy Lee Owens, Camarillo, CA, Linda Quadt, Tucson, AZ, Karen and Joseph Bonavita, Aiken, SC, Debra and David Williams, Stuart, FL; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren a sister, Agnes Yard, Farmington, CT. Private burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park, Warren PA.
