Ruby Cox

AIKEN – Mrs. Ruby “Jo” Coburn Cox, 94, died Monday, January 9, 2017. Jo was born in Yellow Mountain, KY, a daughter of the late Troy Coburn and Grace Bolen Coburn.  She moved to Aiken in 1983, and was a Groomer and Professional Dog Handler.  She was a member of First Baptist Church, and a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine (Ervin) Cline, Aiken; son, Kenneth E. Cox, Punta Gorda, FL; grandchildren, Kelly (Terrance) Dase, Aiken, Joshua (Hope) Cline, Warrenville, Lucas Gram, Traverse City, MI; seven great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Aiken SPCA, 199 Willow Run Rd., Aiken, SC 29801. Services will be private.  Interment will be held at a later date in Hindman Cemetery, Hindman, KY.
