John David Schilb II

AIKEN, SC – JOHN DAVID SCHILB II, 33, died suddenly, Saturday, December 10, 2016 at his residence. A native of Clearwater, FL, John was a son of Robert John Schilb and Maureen Anne Bernard. He moved to Aiken in 1985 where he grew up and graduated from South Aiken High School and attended Aiken Technical College. He was a former member of St. John’s United Methodist Church and was a current member of Central City Church in Columbia, SC. John loved all things technical and was an avid Magic the Gathering player. He was loved by many and had a wide circle of friends from Atlanta, Athens, South Carolina and North Carolina. Survivors include his parents, Robert J. Schilb and Maureen A. Bernard, both of Aiken; his siblings, Elizabeth Grace Schilb, Haskell Jackson Schilb, Grant Logan Schilb, Eric Evans, Ryan Evans, Allison Evans, Leah Derrick Howard and Carla Derrick; paternal grandparents, John David and Arden Grace Schild. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John David and Lois Lillian Bernard. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
