Mary Holley Wilson

AIKEN – Mary Holley Wilson, 95, died Wednesday, November 23, 2016. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 26, 2016 in the Shellhouse Funeral Home chapel with the Reverend Brancie Stephens officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Private interment will be held in Aiken Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Wilson was a lifelong resident of Aiken, and a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Aiken. She was a loving mother, grandmother great grandmother who loved fishing, gardening, bird watching, and watching her Atlanta Braves. She was the life of the party with her jokes and stories on herself. She is survived by her daughter, Priscilla Wilson, N. Augusta; son, Robert (Robbie) Wilson, Aiken; granddaughter, Jennifer Wilson Stevens, Edgefield; great grandchildren, Presslie Stevens and Olivia Stevens, Edgefield. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Woodrow Wilson; parents, Chester and Mae Cato Holley; brothers, Don and Brunson Holley; and sister, Martha Casella. The family would like to thank the staff of Cumberland Hills for their care, compassion and dedication to Mary for the last two and half years. They also wish to thank the staff of Tidewater Hospice for the care and compassion they showed to Mary and her family her last few days.
