Elizabeth Jumper Livingston

NEW ELLENTON, SC – ELIZABETH JUMPER LIVINGSTON, 84, widow of Virgil Wilson Livingston, died Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Augusta University Medical Center. Born in Leesville, SC on March 22, 1932, Mrs. Livingston was a daughter of the late Enos A. and Helen Crosby Jumper. She grew up in the Batesburg Leesville area and made Aiken County her home since 1956. She retired from Skinner’s Sewing Factory, was an avid reader and loved playing computer games with her family and Facebook friends. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and was active in Sunday School. Survivors include two sons, Robert Edward “Rufus” Livingston, Windsor, SC, William David “Bill” Livingston (Robin), Williston, SC; daughter, Barbara Gail Shellabarger (David), Union, OH; eight grandchildren, Karen D. Daniel, Rebecca A. Kinsler, Susan S. Musgrove, Karla and Joey Lane, Brandi E. Jordan, James D. Livingston and Carolynn L. Fisher; seventeen great-grandchildren, Jared, Alex and Kaylee Daniel, Thomas and Lucas Kinsler, Caden Musgrove, Kristen Lee, Ty Jordan, McKenzie Ronning, Dezmond and Eiriana Livingston, Zaylinn Williams,. Kirsten and Jennifer Thompson, Makayla Lane, Justin and Savannah Lane; a great-great-grandson, Jordan Whittle; a brother, Enos A. Jr. “Jump” Jumper (Peggy), Walkertown, NC and a sister, Helen “Peepsie” Ford, West Columbia, SC. In addition to her husband and parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her daughter, Lynn Kaney; grandson, Chris Roe and a brother, James Robert “Bobbie” Jumper. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 2 until 3 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 3 o’clock. The Rev. Mike Bell will officiate. Interment will follow in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be J.R. Fisher, Jason Ronning, Greg Daniel, Dave Musgrove, Ty Jordan, Jared Daniel and James Livingston.
