Sylvia Menster Smith

AIKEN – Mrs. Sylvia Menster Smith, 69, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Smith was born in Asheville, NC. She spent her career working as a seamstress and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She is survived by her husband, Russell Daniel Smith; daughter; Teresa Smith (Patrick) Leffew, Salisbury, NC; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Colen Morrow, Statesville, NC and a stepson, Larry Smith, Jr. Cooleemee, NC She was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Menster. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Whiskey Rd, Aiken. There is also a service being planned in Salisbury, NC at later date.
