AIKEN - Mr. Daniel Miller Stallings, Jr., 84, died Sunday, July 19, 2009. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Charles Jenkins will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service. Mr. Stallings was born in Barnwell County and was an operator for the City of Aiken. He served in the US Army in WWII. Survivors include his beloved wife, Naomi Valentine Stallings; four daughters, Ella Mae Stallings, Atlanta, Betty Jean Stallings, Atlanta, Kay Frances Stallings, New York, NY, Mahaley (Greg) Stevens, Aiken; two sons, Daniel Stallings, III, Aiken, James Wesley Stallings, Atlanta; 21 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; in laws, Ben (Loretta) Valentine, Clifton (Frances) Addison , Willie Moody, Johnny Valentine, Chester Valentine, Elizabeth Goodwin.
