Margaret Jones Page

AIKEN – Margaret Jones Page, 91, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM Wednesday, October 19, 2016, in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel, Hayne Ave, with the graveside following at 12:00 PM in Bethany Cemetery with Chaplain Ava Harris officiating. Mrs. Page was born in Union Point, GA to the late A. R. and Bertha Holtzendorph Jones.  She moved to Aiken in 1947 and spent her time working as a drafting clerk for Bell South.  During World War II she riveted airplanes for Bell Aircraft.  Margaret was not only a workaholic, but she was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her sons, Larry (Sheri) Page, Aiken and Bobby Page, Aiken; step-daughters, Ruby (Dave) Sharp, Leicester, England and Susan (Vince) Fulmer, Windsor, SC; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Dot Webb, Powder Springs, GA.  Margaret was preceded in death by her husband William Curtis Page; sisters, Gladys Chamblee and Helen Jones; brothers, Harold Jones and Bobby Jones.
