Gini J. Sayers

AIKEN, SC – GINI J. SAYERS, 70, passed away peacefully Monday, October 17, 2016 at home. Born in Altoona, PA, Gini was a daughter of the late Harold and June Seiple Filer. She grew up in Ohio and had lived in Aiken since 1981. She was a receptionist at The Reserve Club where she had worked since the club opened. Her interests include family, gardening and her love of animals; especially her great dane, Kobi. Gini loved spending time with her granddaughter and Ohio State football. Survivors include two daughters, Tracy Smoland (Geoff) and Beth Smith Lynce and a granddaughter, Peyton Lynce, all of Aiken. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, October 20th from 5 until 7 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. The funeral will be private.
