Vicki Heilig Dukes

AIKEN, SC – VICKI HEILIG DUKES, 65, died Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Concord, NC, Vicki was a daughter of the late David Leon and Mamie Rae Lunsford Heilig. She grew up in Aiken and graduated from Aiken High School. Vicki retired from Westinghouse at the Savannah River Site. She was a devoted mother and caretaker. She loved working in her yard, shopping and decorating. Survivors include her son, Michael Ryan Dukes, Beech Island, two sisters, Linda Tinney (Mel), Pepin, WI and Pamela Clark (Rick), Ridgeville, SC and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Vicki was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Jason Dukes in 2009. The family will receive friends Saturday evening September 17th from 5 until 8 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. The funeral will be Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the funeral home, with Chaplain Dexter Lambert officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery.
