Margaret "Billie" W. Strickland

NEW ELLENTON, SC - MARGARET W. "BILLIE" STRICKLAND, 78, died Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at her residence. A native of Augusta, GA, Billie was a daughter of the late Alvin Leslie and Thelma Beatrice Blackston Wall. She lived in Aiken County since 1962 and retired from Owens-Corning Fiberglass. Survivors include a daughter, Judy S. Morris (Grover), Aiken; three sons, Bobby Strickland, New Ellenton, Dewayne “Frog” Strickland, Aiken, Ken Strickland, Aiken; five grandchildren, Timmy Roberts (Barbara), Christie Frashuer (William), Scott Stoeppler, Gary Strickland (Michelle), Jenille Strickland; three great-grandchildren, Michael and Katie Roberts and Wynter Gregory; a special niece, Kathy Grimes, Harlem, GA and a brother-in-law, Alvin Turner, Lincolnton, GA A memorial service will be held Saturday afternoon, April 16th at 1 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home with The Rev.
