Harry Lynn Clendenen

AIKEN, SC - Harry Lynn Clendenen, 80, died Thursday, December 31, 2015 after a brief illness. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a lifelong resident of Tennessee and retired from AT&T. A private graveside service will be held in Southlawn Cemetery. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Oral and Bessie Spradling Clendenen, a brother, Charles Wallace Clendenen, and a sister, Bernadine Clendenen Rayburn. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Clendenen, and three children: Greta (Ross) Fanning of Aiken, SC, Gena (James) Boland of Blairstown, NJ, and Geoffrey (Teresa) Clendenen of Aiken, SC; seven grandchildren: James and Joseph Boland, Mitchell and Logan Fanning, Jordan and Brendan Clendenen, and Morgan Hudson; two brothers: Edwin Ray Clendenen and Clayton Clendenen; two sisters: Betty Moses and Peggy Gaston; and several nieces and nephews.
