David G. Harvey

AIKEN, SC – DAVID G. HARVEY, 97, beloved husband of Dell Wright Harvey, died Saturday, November 21, 2015 at his residence. A native of Pinehurst, GA, Mr. Harvey was a son of the late Homer and Emma Faircloth Harvey. He was a Seabee in the United States Navy during World War II. Mr. Harvey lived in Aiken since 1952 and retired from DuPont at the Savannah River Plant. He was a member of the Aiken Masonic Lodge #156. Survivors, in addition to his wife Dell, include a daughter, Sharon H. Carpenter, Aiken; two grandchildren, Belisa A. Morgan, David B. Carpenter; two great-grandchildren, Victoria F. Carpenter, Emily R. Morgan. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5 until 7 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. Funeral services will be private.
