WINDSOR, SC – JAMES EDWARD WILLIAMSON, 48, died suddenly, Sunday, October 18, 2015 at his residence following an extended illness. A native and lifelong resident of Aiken County, Jimmy was a son of Lilly Gunter Williamson Boyd and the late Johnny Vernell Williamson. He was a fourth generation carpenter and was a residential home builder, working 25 years for Essex Homes and Premier Homes in Aiken and Columbia. Survivors include his daughter, Jessica Williamson, Aiken; three sons, Andrew Williamson, Aiken, Anthony Williamson, Aiken and Aaron Bishop, Longs, SC; his former wife, Cissy Kelleym Aiken; his mother and step-father, Lilly and Marion Boyd, Windsor; a sister, Susan Hood (Bruce), Windsor; a brother, Robert Williamson (Keri), Williston and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon beginning at 1 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home in Aiken, followed by the funeral service at 2 o’clock. The Rev. Bobby Paschal will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
