David Gordon Koester

WINDSOR, SC – DAVID G. KOESTER, 73, beloved husband of Mary Grant Koester, died Sunday, October 18, 2015 at University Hospital. A native of Milwaukee, WI, David was a son of the late Gordon Ernest and Ardeth Nelson Koester. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a graduate of the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Engineering. David lived in Aiken County since 1986 and retired from Westinghouse at the Savannah River Site. Survivors, in addition to his wife of 48 years, Mary, include a daughter, Laini Courtney, Windsor, SC and a granddaughter, Brittni Bonnette, Raleigh, NC. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. Funeral services will be private.
