David Yount Fisher

AIKEN – Mr. David Yount Fisher, 91, died Tuesday, July 7, 2015. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 11, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church of Aiken with the Rev. Holly Shoaf-O’Kula officiating. Interment will follow in historic Bethany Cemetery with full honors accorded by the SC Highway Patrol Honor Guard. A reception will follow at Aiken’s First Presbyterian Church parlor. Mr. Fisher was born in McFarlan, NC to the late Giles Willie and Dora Katherine Yount Fisher. He had lived in Aiken for the last 41 years and was a retired SC Highway Patrolman of 40 years. Mr. Fisher was a former Elder and Deacon of First Presbyterian Church. He is survived by three sons, David Yount (Cindy) Fisher, Jr., Pickens, SC, Kenneth (Donna) Fisher, Warrenville, SC, Stephen Wayne (Carla) Fisher, Wilmington, NC; four grandchildren, Jessica, Madison, Luke, Cameron, and one great grandchild, Ayden. He was preceded in death by his wife, Adele Durban Fisher and a son, Donald Giles Fisher.
