Carl Duane Kangas

AIKEN, SC – CWO CARL DUANE KANGAS, USN Ret., 74, died Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Conneaut, OH, Carl was a son of the late George and Gladys Volkman Kangas. He was a retired Chief Warrant Officer in the United States Navy and had lived in Aiken since 1994. Survivors include a daughter, Cynthia Sullivan, Poway, CA; three grandchildren, Guiseppe, Justice and Anneesah Sullivan; a sister, Betsy Bischoff, Aiken, SC. The funeral service will be held Monday afternoon, April 20, 2015 at 4 o’clock from the graveside in Southlawn Cemetery with Military Honors accorded by the United States Navy Honor Guard.
