AIKEN, SC- CHARLES HERBERT PERRIER, 80, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Perrier was a native of Carroll County, Maryland, having made Aiken his home for the past twelve years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and retired as a licensed plumber after many years of service. He enjoyed building things and was especially proud of building a replica of the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Tower Bridge over the River Thames in England, and a Mississippi River Steam Boat. Mr. Perrier is survived by his wife of sixty years, Jo Ann Perrier; four daughters, Lil Ann Merson of Grand Prairie, Texas, Sherri Ann Shaffer of Pennsylvania, Bonnie Cunningham of Boca Raton, Florida, and Alicia Phillips of Pennsylvania and a son, William Perrier of Westminster, Maryland; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and three sisters. Mr. Perrier was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lillian Wenige Perrier, and a grandson, Adam Frock. Private interment in Carroll County, Maryland. SHELLHOUSE-RIVERS FUNERAL HOME, 715 E.
