Jeffrey "Buddha" Allen Sackett

AIKEN, SC – JEFFREY A. “BUDDHA” SACKETT, 47, died suddenly of a heart attack, Thursday February 27, 2014 at his residence. A native of Sheboygan, WI, Buddha was a son of the lateJudy Strysick Henning and John Harvey Sackett. He lived most of his life in Wisconsin before moving to Aiken 15 years ago. He was a long-time employee at Aiken Taxi Transport. His joys in life were singing karaoke, serving the community, making others smile. He was an avid Cheesehead. Survivors include a daughter, Kim Wiegand; a son, Devon Van Ess; a granddaughter, Athena Nicole Splinter; 2 brothers, John and Steve Sackett; a niece, Teanea Sackett; a nephew, Steven A. Sackett, all of Sheboygan, WI. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 4 PM at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.
