Phillip Ross Waybright

Phillip Ross Waybright AIKEN, SC – PHILLIP ROSS WAYBRIGHT, 86, beloved husband of Frieda May Herold Waybright, died Friday, February 28, 2014 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Charleston, WV, Mr. Waybright was a son of the late James Robert and Edith Backus Waybright. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during World War II. He had lived in Aiken since 1960 and was a retired teacher from the Aiken County Public Schools. Mr. Waybright was also a retired realtor. He was a member of First Christian Church and the Civil Air Patrol. In addition to his wife Frieda, survivors include two sisters, Carolyn Waybright and Anna Harriet Waybright, both of Aiken; a brother, Robert Dale Waybright, Dallas, TX; two nieces, Megan Day and Anna Day, both of Aiken; a nephew, John Martin Wilhelm, Terralta, WV. Mr. Waybright is proceeded in death by his eldest sister, Corlie Waybright Wilhelm. Friends may call this Saturday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock at Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home.
