AIKEN, SC - JAMES FOSTER, 69, beloved husband of Henrietta Cade Foster, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center, Augusta, GA. Born in Salley, SC, James was a son of the late Thomas and Gertrude Frazier Foster. He lived most his life in Aiken County and was a veteran of the United States Army, rising to the rank of Sergeant and serving in Vietnam. James retired from Metso Paper. He was a member of Mt Anna Baptist Church and was a member of the Male Chorus. Survivors, in addition to his wife Henrietta, include two daughters, Larissa Anderson (Damien), Aiken and Vanessa Breaker (Danny), Aiken; three sons, Vincent Foster (Michelle), Aiken, Bobby Corley (Luvenia), Columbia and Victor Foster (Angelique), Aiken; 20 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Essie Ashley, Wagener, Bertha Williams (Earl), New York, NY and a sister-in-law, Gracie Scott, Wagener. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Saturday at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 PM at Cedar Creek Church.
