Joseph Eugene Thompson, Jr.

AIKEN, SC - JOSEPH EUGENE THOMPSON, JR., 81, died at his sister's residence in Aiken, Thursday, February 7, 2013. A native of Mobile, AL, Mr. Thompson was a son of the late Joseph Eugene and Madeline Mae Magee Thompson. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving in Korea. He retired as sales manager for Galpin Ford in Los Angeles, CA. He had been a resident of Norfolk, VA for a number of years before coming to Aiken last November. Survivors include his sister, Josephine Thompson Stegall (Harry), Aiken and a brother, Samuel D. Thompson, Ph.D. (Jacqueline), Old Bridge, NJ.
